Closets Are For Clothes
What is it?
Stocked with quality clothing the closet provides free clothing for trans and gender transitioning students allowing them access to gently used or new gender affirming clothing, shoes and accessories. The purpose of this service is to alleviate the often heavy financial burden of transitioning or coming out. While members of the LGBTQIA+ community are given priority access to this resource, all S&T students who have a need for this service may use it accordingly.
How It Works
If you are a student who is interested in using the closet, we welcome you to schedule a private appointment or stop by and take a look, explore the clothes, and if there is something you like that makes you feel great about yourself, it is yours to keep.
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - Noon - By private appointment only.
Monday - Friday, 1:00pm - 4:00pm - Walk-in's welcome - No appointment necessary.
Want to help support the closet?
We are now accepting donations of men's and women's gently used and new clothing, shoes, and accessories. Items must be clean with no tears, rips, missing buttons, or broken zippers.
You can drop off your items at the Diversity House between 8:30 am- 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, 605 W. 11th Street.
