On this October 11, National Coming Out Day will continue to raise awareness for individuals within the LGBTQ+ community, and champion the idea that homophobia thrives in silence. On this day, many people who identify as LGBTQ+ will “come out” (a term stemming from the phrase “come out of the closet”) to friends or family about their sexuality, which is a very big moment! Join SDI and Spectrum for FREE PIZZA at the puck from 11-12:30 on October 11th to celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month!
Join SHPE for tacos on October 13th from 5-7pm at the Diversity House (605 West 11th St.) to celebrate Hispanic Heritage month and learn more about Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. Help support the group with your purchase.
September 15-October 15th is Hispanic Heritage Month. Join Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers for a night of pizza and basic dance lessons! Event will be held Friday, October 14th at 7pm in St. Pat's Ballrooms B&C. Deadline to register is 10/12 by 5pm.
